Bragging Rights β€” this week: 5 agent builds

Hey there πŸ‘‹

This is my third newsletter where I share cool stuff people are making on the internet.

You might remember me from my CatGPT project. I made it in one day to show that you can make fun stuff with AI, and millions of people loved it!

Adam and the crew

Today, we are going to look at AI agents! πŸ€–

Let's get into today's bragging! β€” Adam

$500m for an agentic website builder

Two guys from Sweden have taken the world by storm with their vibe coding app. Anton Osika and Fabian Hedin are the creators of Lovable, an AI agent that builds websites for people who can't code. These two guys are determined to stay in their home country and build from there.

This crazy bunch of vikings from Sweden are taking everyone on and just hit $500m in ARR. The funny part? Lovable dot com is actually owned by a lingerie company.

Lovable just crossed $500M ARR, 50M projects built, and 720M monthly visits to Lovable-built projects.

With that, we're introducing our first-ever data study: A First Look at the Build Economy.

Here's what stands out to me:

An AI travel agent just raised $6m

Francis Davidson is smashing the world of travel wide open. He realized that everyone loves vacations but booking trips is a PITA. So he built an AI agent that finds the best deals, takes care of booking your hotel and plans out activities for your next dream trip. He's got investors on board and he just raised $6m in funding.

$145k MRR from agentic social media

Nevo David is an AI founder to watch right now. This dev is making $145k a month from social media scheduling and it's totally bootstrapped! He's made an AI agent that takes your LLM prompt and schedules posts for you. It's also open source, which is awesome. I love someone going full pirate mode and winning in a saturated market. He's adding $2k in extra MRR a day right now.

Striking gold twice on Reddit

This guy is a genius. This Ukrainian dev Alexander built a Reddit AI agent that finds people searching for your product and writes a reply for you. Calls it ReplyGuy (which I love!) and grows it to $6k MRR before selling it.

Most people would leave it there. Not Alexander. He waited until his 12 month non-compete was done and then built the same app again! Replymer still uses AI to find content to reply to but this time instead of AI auto replies, which Reddit mods hate, he hires humans to write the replies. His new app has exceeded the monthly revenue of his old app.

Alexander really struck gold in the same place twice.

I sold my Reddit reply tool at $6K MRR in 2024. Rebuilt it from scratch. Now $8.3K.

Agentic shopping for lazy gift givers

Josh Pigford is shipping like crazy. This guy sold his Baremetrics business a few years ago for $4m. Since then he hasn't stopped working. He made this Weird Shopping website which looks amazing! You type in a description of someone you want to buy a gift for and the website searches Shopify stores to find the perfect thing. Essential info for lazy gift givers (it's my wife's birthday soon…)

Bragging you can do this weekend

People are handing the boring parts of the internet to agents β€” building the website, booking the trip, posting the posts, even buying the gifts. More and more builders are going full pirate mode with it. I think that's awesome.
